In October 2023, LCI open their doors to our first Veteran family. We our currently in the process of opening our 3rd home for Women's only home in Baltimore City by April 1st, 2024. We provide, weekly or monthly check-in depending on the resident life goals. We have helped our residents to get food stamps, community connection to get primary care on a routine. We have

provided personal transportation and paid transportation to doctors’ appointments, food

market visits, and supported financial budgets as needed.

 

As of, 2023 LCI has served 25 men, 1 woman,  and 1 family. Most of our resident background suffers from alcoholism,

depression, and mental health. The longest resident has been with us for three years. The normal stay is 6 to 12 months. Currently, we have 2 residents with us over 12 months. As we continue to grow, we have noticed the need of providing more healthy food choices for our residents.

Our goal: To continue to expand with wellness care and offer a food pantry.
